Technorati Love

Jordan Lapp over at Without Even Trying posted this today, and I thought I'd return the favor. I've never really used Technorati, but I signed up and now both of my blogs are on there. So if you're interested in adding me to your favorites, I've posted a link on the side bar for you to do so. Please post a comment if you do, so I know. Thanks.

The Politics of Responsibility

This is cross-posted from JB Dryden Co.'s Blog"

In a recent post I read, the author states rather matter-of-factly that it is an author’s responsibility to be more concise and honest with its readers than politicians. Now, while I agree with some of the political points he makes, I will ask this (of both myself and you, the reader): is it really the responsibility of an entertainer to be as politically conscious as politicians?

So You Think You Know the Genre

One of the questions I get a lot about the stories that get submitted – and particularly after I’ve turned them away – is why I didn’t like them. I’m not going to go into a huge speech about what I do and don’t like. Rather, this is a discussion about the most common answer to that question: are you sure you know your genre?
